The Tax Manager will provide sophisticated tax planning, preparation, and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families while delivering a highly personalized, white-glove client experience. Candidates must have 6–10 years of tax experience and hold a CPA or EA designation. Estate and trust tax planning experience is a strong plus, as is experience working within a boutique, relationship-driven wealth management or advisory environment.
6–10 years of professional tax experience, ideally within a CPA firm, wealth management practice, family office, or boutique advisory environment.
CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) required.
Strong experience with individual and business tax planning, preparation, compliance, and advisory services.
Estate and trust tax planning experience strongly preferred, particularly experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families.
Experience providing high-touch, white-glove service to affluent and high-net-worth clients.
Strong ability to serve as a trusted tax advisor, developing long-term client relationships and proactively identifying planning opportunities.
Experience managing complex tax engagements, coordinating deadlines, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service.
Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and solutions-focused, with the ability to navigate complex tax matters and communicate recommendations clearly.
Comfortable working in a boutique, relationship-driven environment where discretion, responsiveness, and personalized service are essential.
Ability to collaborate closely with financial advisors, estate planning attorneys, investment professionals, and other professional advisors to deliver an integrated client experience.
Strong knowledge of current federal and state tax regulations, with Michigan tax experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client relationships and engagements independently while maintaining a high standard of service.
